Description of the works
The sign language symbol is a special language that uses a digital computer to mirror the image to form an unknown, unpredictable new graph. This kind of image contains the basic definition of the original sign language symbol, and the image has certain unknownness. The author pre dicts the shape of an unknown thing through the notion of sign language symbol transformation.
Sign language is essentially the same as painting art, and both use silent symbols for information transmission. The author wants to seek a balance through the transformation of sign language symbols. This balance can be natural, time, and informative.
A concept of proposed future art:
The art of the future should be dematerialized, with digital media and virtual reality for artistic interaction. The traditional artistic concept is based on the ontology of art and the appreciator is the individual. The art of the future should be the appreciator’s first position, and the artworks appear in an auxiliary form. A work of art brings different visual experiences to different people.
Bio
GUANCHU ZHU, 1989 born in China, is currently studying at the Wroclaw Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design for a Ph.D. A lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts of Northeast Normal University in China.
Also, he is a member of Artists Association of Jilin Province. His works are collected in The National Art Museum of China (China, Beijing), Heilongjiang Art Gallery (China Heilongjiang), Jilin Provincial Art Gallery (China Jilin), Beijing United Art Center (China, Beijing), National Taiwan Normal University (China, Taiwan), Northeast Normal University (China Changchun) and so on.
