Ana Garcia-Lopez is Doctor in Fine Arts since 2003. Her doctoral thesis was graded with Summa Cum Laude and awarded with the PhD Extraordinary Award at the University of Granada (UGR) in 2003. She studied Fine Arts and a two-year specialization in Environmental Design. Her posgraduate in “Computer Graphics” was at the UCLA (USA) (1992-93). She has also studied Translation and Interpretation.She is currently Vice-Dean for Institutional Relationships and Research at the Fine Arts Faculty (UGR) and professor of Media Art Projects and Exhibition and Stage Design. She also coordinates the Master of Museology at the UGR.
She has participated in several research projects such as the SPORA Project. Art, Science and Technology, Research project funded by the Office Knowledge Transfer at the University of Granada, and the Innovation Dept. of the Andalusian regional Government. She is full time researcher in the FP7 Marie Curie “GLobal cOntemporary art market: the intrinsiC and sociologicAL components of FINancial and artistic valuE of ARTtworks (GlocalFineArt) project, financed with 1.9 million euros. She has leaded the cross border project Cultural Transfer on Crafts, Design and Contemporary Art in Morocco and Spain funded by the European Commission through the UGR Campus of Excellence. She has participated in several Fine Art Research Groups and has leaded Research projects and publications in Artistic Research such as Fine Arts Practice, Research and Education across Europe.
She is Associate Editor of the International Journal for the Arts in Society and the Journal of Artistic Research. She is member of the Steering Committee of Paradox Fine Art European Forum and has coordinated the 2013 Biennial Conference of Paradox Fine Art European Forum Granada, September 12th-13th, 2013. She is member of the ELIA (European League of Institutes of the Arts) Steering Committee since November 2014.
She has lectured in postgraduate courses and Doctoral Programs and organized Research Conferences. She has also taught in Los Angeles, CA, California Bilingual Education program (1992-1997) and obtained the California teacher’s credential.
She has directed the International Exhibition on Ephemeral Art in Granada in 2008 and 2009, and the Granada Millenium Biennale. Contemporary Art and Heritage in November and December 2011 (www.bienaldegranada.com).
She founded the company ALDEAVISUAL in 1999 for multimedia design and animation and interactive projects. She is president of the Cultural Society “ARTES ARt, TEchnology and Society.” that produces workshops and activities such as Sound Art Workshop, Art and Environment, Vjing in contemporary art work, and Conferences on Augmented Stage, etc…) and organizes international exhibitions.

Since 2008 Vice-Rector (Vice-President) in charge of international cooperation and research programmes at University of Arts in Poznan, Poland.
Professor, head of the Studio of Space Forming and Transformations, Intermedia Department at Multimedia Communication Faculty.
Graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan in 1985 (diploma with distinction in painting and artistic education).
He received his doctorate degree (PhD) in 1993, Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture, AFA, Poznan.
Habilitation in 1999, Faculty of Multimedia Communication, AFA, Poznan.
The professorial title awarded by the Polish President in 2004.
Has held numerous solo exhibitions and featured in a broad range of group exhibitions and art projects in Poland and abroad.
Andrzej Syska’s main art fields are sculpture, painting and the “new” media. Has completed many multimedia projects, installations and films. Coordinator of various research projects, workshops and art exhibitions curator.
Led many international projects.
September 2013-6 Chair of the Steering Committee of PARADOX the Fine Art European Forum.
On November 2014 elected as a member of The European League of Institutes of the Arts Representative Board 2014-2016 by the ELIA General Assembly.
